The best time to visit varies depending on which part of the Amazon rainforest you want to visit. If you want to go to the Tambopata nature reserve than the best time is between April – September during the dry season.
Traveling to the Amazon rainforest is very safe. Crime in or near the lodges, cruises and nature reserves is relatively unheard of. As with any foreign land, travelers should avoid heading into remote parts with our guides or the presence of our staff.
