Flexible Travel Postponement Terms
Journey Machu Picchu has made sure to prepare for the unexpected so you can travel with confidence. We offer the most flexible travel postponement terms because we know there are some things out of everyone’s control. You can book confidently knowing we offer:
Postponements at No Cost: Trips with departure dates before Dec. 31, 2021, can be postponed up to 10 days before travel at no cost.
Flexible Dates: Do you need to Postpone but can’t commit to specific dates yet? It’s okay. You can Postpone now and choose your dates later.
Personal Assistance: Your designated travel advisor will take care of all the logistics that come with changing travel dates. You can have peace of mind knowing you can travel when the time’s right for you.
No Inflation Cost: We will cover any price increase between the time of the trip postponement and the new travel date.

What if I postpone less than ten days before my trip?
That’s not a problem. Between 5-10 days, you can apply 80% of your travel credit toward a later date. Under five days? You will still have the option to use 50% of your credit toward a later date.

Additional Information
- This policy applies to all new bookings beginning on May 1st, 2020.
- International airfare is not applicable.
- Please note that different postponement deadlines may apply to large groups (e.g., 10 or more traveling together) or special quotes and services.
- The above terms are valid for postponements only. For cancellations, the standard cancellation policy applies.
- New travel dates will need to be approved by the Journey Machu Picchu Team.
- Journey Machu Picchu must approve new travel dates at least six months before departure.
- If the original trip was for a multiple travelers and more than 40% have either canceled their trip or made a charge back on a payment source, travel postponement is not applicable.
