At the Chaxa Lagoon in the National Flamingo Reserve, be amazed by the three species of flamingos – the James, Andean, and Chilean – that thrive in this stunning environment. In the afternoon, bask in the serenity of Laguna Cejar, where you can float effortlessly in its highly concentrated salt water.

Rise before the sun to journey to the towering heights of the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal field formed by volcanic activity. Admire the high columns of steam that reach nearly 40 feet, and for the brave, take a dip in the 17-degree Fahrenheit waters. A picnic-style breakfast will be served after your excursion, and along the way, you may encounter vicuñas, vizcachas, and a variety of birds as you stop in a small village.
